DO AN ACT OF KINDNESS
Recall the last time someone was kind to you. How did it make you feel?
Vividly bring to mind the memory of it and be aware of exactly how it made you feel? Noticing the sensations it creates in your body.
Now bring vividly to memory a time when you were kind to someone else and remember how the other person felt, how did they express themselves and how did that make you feel inside?
When we are kind to someone else it makes that person feel happy and then we in turn feel happy as well. It’s a win win situation.
Acts of kindness make us happy. They have a spiral effect, the kinder we are the happier we are and the happier we are the kinder we are.
