Nurturing Yoga Retreat

The Lodge, Castlewellan.
As the earth gradually moves out of the darkness of Winter and into more light it will be time to nurture and recharge your body and mind. Preparing yourself for the onset of Spring.
Through flowing movement, breath awareness, mantra, mudras, free movement, and Yoga Nidra you can create a space of calm where you can truly access and nurture a sense of ease and joy in your body.
You can find a balance between relaxation and stimulation (or parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system) in your body and mind as you seek to make a connection to the earth through movement, sound and breath.
By learning to listen to the natural wisdom of the body you will find that you get comfortable with yourself just as you are.

Details:
Please bring a yoga mat and 2 yoga or wool blankets OR a blanket and a large towel.
A hand towel or cushion if required for support under your head.
A Yoga block. I’ll have some blocks and a few blankets to share.
A light lunch will be provided at 1:00
Schedule
12.00pm: Introduction, mindfulness and breathing.
1.00pm- 2.00pm: A light lunch, soup and a treat. Herbal teas provided. Time to connect with each other.
2.00 -3.30pm: Asana practice connecting to the Earth. Relearning ancestral patterns of movement held in the memory of our body.
3.30 – 3.45: Mantra and free movement
short break
4.00 – 4.30: Restorative Yoga
4.30 – 500pm Yoga Nidra.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel with more than 3 days’ notice you will receive a refund minus an admin fee of £10.
If you cancel with less than 3 days’ notice, there will be no refund, but it may be possible to send someone else in your place.
